About the Role
We are seeking a Graphic Designer who blends strong commercial design expertise with a passion for global aesthetic research.
In this position, you will enjoy high creative autonomy, working across diverse sectors including Fashion, Cultural & Creative Products, Art, and Sustainability. Beyond producing high-end graphic assets, your core mission is to serve as an aesthetic bridge—researching global design trends, dissecting emerging visual languages, and regularly sharing insights to inspire and collaborate with our wider design team.
Key Responsibilities
International Visual Trend Research & Knowledge Curation
- Trend Research: Continuously monitor global design platforms, fashion/art sources, and trend forecasting sites to identify emerging aesthetics, colour directions, and graphic treatments.
- Analysis & Briefing: Select and breakdown standout visual cases, analysing the storytelling, composition, and materials behind each design to assemble structured Trend Briefs.
- Knowledge Sharing: Host regular internal sharing sessions or produce written Trend Bulletins for the design team, offering actionable references for trims, packaging, badges, labels, and merchandise.
- Visual Library Management: Curate and update the team’s digital reference library, tagging works by category (colour, typography, pattern, material) for easy cross-team access.
Commercial Graphic Design Deliverables
- Brand Assets: Produce a full spectrum of graphic deliverables, including festive posters, campaign Key Visuals (KVs), exhibition graphics, cultural merchandise artwork, social media content, and packaging layouts.
- Production Prep: Prepare error-free, print-ready, and digital artwork files across various formats, ensuring precise colour modes (CMYK/RGB), resolutions, and bleeds.
Visual Consistency & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Brand Guardrails: Collaborate closely with Sustainability, Exhibition, and Project teams to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints.
- Concept Input: Participate in early-stage design review meetings, offering creative direction on layout, colour, and aesthetic tone to ensure concepts are elevated and executable.
Requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Art & Design, Cross-Media Design, or related disciplines.
- 3 years or above of commercial graphic design experience. Backgrounds in branding, packaging, cultural merchandise, or trend visuals are highly preferred.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with solid foundations in typography, layout, and colour theory. A clean, modern, and international aesthetic is essential.
- Proactive mindset with a genuine passion for tracking, analysing, and sharing global visual trends.
- Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English to facilitate cross-border team collaboration and international research.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, organized, and capable of taking full ownership of design projects from brief to final production.
- Occasional Business Travel is required.
- Portfolio Required: Applicants MUST submit an online portfolio showcasing the previous commercial graphic design work.
