Assistant Manager - Manager - Sales - Garment Merchandising

Reporting to Senior Manager, Sales, the new incumbent will be responsible for generating sales in the World Sales Market and supporting the execution of the entire order process, from sample development to bulk production.

Responsibilities

• Collect customer information and market reports
• Identify and develop new potential customers
• Coordinate with merchandising teams in product development
• Perform the entire order process to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
• Supervise a team to enhance service delivery, quality level, and operational efficiency
• Prepare and conduct customer presentations
• Liaise with the internal sales and operations group on buyers’ requirements and standards
• Address compliance and quality issues
• Evaluate information and analyze problems from various perspectives to assist superiors in handling critical issues
• Verify customer claims and alert the factories for further improvements
• Collaborate with back-office departments (Accounts, Logistics, IT, HR) for administration

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent

• 3-5 years of sales and merchandising experience, preferably in garment manufacturing

• Good command of both spoken and written English

• Proficient in common software (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills
• Effective stress management and conflict resolution skills

• Accountable, proactive and possessing a pleasant personality
• Agile and adaptive to change

• Occasional business travel required
