Job description

Quoted in full from Xantium's job posting. Gavroche does not edit it.

Xantium Group is looking for a Recruiter to join at a pivotal point in the Firm’s growth, with the opportunity to shape the talent coming in and the processes behind how we recruit. You'll lead searches across quantitative research, trading, and analysis, bringing the market knowledge and judgment to identify and attract exceptional candidates.

Beyond delivering on immediate priorities, you'll help build the capabilities we need as we scale. Working closely with hiring managers, you'll develop targeted talent strategies, cultivate relationships, and strengthen our systems and interview practices. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys a fast pace and takes equal ownership of filling roles and advancing longer-term projects.

 Key Responsibilities

  • -Own end-to-end recruitment for front-office positions, from role scoping through assessment, offer negotiation, and closing.
  • -Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand investment strategies, hiring priorities, and the commercial impact of each hire.
  • -Build and maintain talent pipelines across quantitative research, trading, and investment roles.
  • -Build recruiting infrastructure, including improving ATS functionality, workflows, reporting, and data quality.
  • -Manage recruiting projects from planning through implementation, balancing longer-term improvements with day-to-day hiring needs.

Key Criteria

  • -5+ years of combined agency and in-house recruiting experience, preferably for front-office financial services roles.
  • -Experience working in a growing or scaling business, where priorities evolve and processes are fluid and in various stages of maturity.
  • -Strong commercial judgment and the ability to connect hiring decisions to business needs.
  • -Strong project management skills, with the ability to turn ideas into practical, well-executed improvements.
  • -Hands-on experience with an ATS and an interest in making recruiting systems and workflows scale.
