About us

FlightStory is a creator media company that builds and scales creator-led brands. We create and grow video-first shows including Steven Bartlett's The Diary Of A CEO, Davina McCall's Begin Again and Paul C. Brunson's We Need To Talk. Our teams combine storytelling, technology, audience growth and commercial expertise to turn powerful voices into media brands that grow across shows, books, products and new formats.

The most important part of our machine isn't technology, capital or distribution. It's people. As Steven often says: "The meaning of 'a company' is simply a group of people, and hiring the right ones is the single most important thing you'll do."

We move fast, we experiment, and we only hire A-Players. That puts our talent team at the centre of everything we do.

The role

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who moves fast and loves the hunt. You'll work alongside our Heads of Talent Acquisition on our most senior and Critical searches, building the pipelines that land exceptional people, and you'll own a set of roles of your own from start to finish. You won't wait for applicants. You'll use every tool available, AI included, to find the best people quickly and give them a process worth talking about.

Day to day, you will:

  • Drive senior and Critical searches with market maps, target lists and outreach, live within days of kick-off

  • Proactively source and headhunt, using AI to research markets, sharpen outreach and move faster

  • Screen candidates against the brief and our values, and present them with a clear point of view

  • Own a portfolio of roles end to end, from intake to accepted offer

  • Manage hiring managers with confidence: clear updates, timely feedback and no surprises

  • Make sure every candidate hears back quickly, and that the process reflects the culture we say we have

  • Keep our applicant tracking system (ATS) clean and accurate, so the team can trust the data and act on it

What we're looking for

  • Recruitment or sourcing experience, agency or in-house. Agency recruiters ready for their first in-house role are very welcome

  • A genuine hunter: someone who sources proactively rather than waiting on inbound applications

  • Experience hiring in media, content or creative, such as editors, producers, social and talent, or a real passion for the creator economy and the shows we make

  • A bias for speed: you keep processes moving and never leave a strong candidate waiting

  • Confident, everyday use of AI in sourcing and recruiting, always looking for a smarter, faster way to work

  • Strong stakeholder management, with the confidence to push hiring managers for feedback and decisions

  • Highly organised, with strong habits around ATS data and candidate experience

  • Media, creative or start-up exposure is a plus

Why join us

You'll help hire the people behind some of the most recognised creator brands in the world, and learn senior search alongside experienced Heads of Talent Acquisition. If you want to move fast, experiment and grow into a bigger role, this is the seat.
