Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Connected Warfare Division builds mission-critical systems that enable global command and control for time-sensitive, multi-domain operations. By fusing robotics, sensor networks, and advanced software, we create connected mesh ecosystems that empower our military partners with a comprehensive source of truth for rapid decision-making. Our Mission Command group is at the forefront of delivering software solutions that integrate seamlessly with hundreds of thousands of endpoints worldwide, ensuring operational superiority on a global scale.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Staff Technical Program Manager on the Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) Integration team, you will own the delivery and accreditation of capabilities that allow Lattice to operate securely across classification boundaries. Sitting at the nexus of engineering, vendors, and government authorizing officials, you will navigate complex technical and compliance hurdles to deliver secure, real-time data flows to warfighters in the field.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive end-to-end delivery. Own the execution roadmap for integrating Lattice across security domains, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with operational requirements.
- Bridge engineering, compliance, and customers. Act as the technical connective tissue between software engineering, cybersecurity, compliance teams, third-party technology vendors, and customer stakeholders.
- Own assessment and authorization (A&A). Lead the end-to-end security assessment, accreditation, and authorization processes with relevant government Authorizing Officials (AOs) to achieve and maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATOs).
- Lead cross-functional engineering execution. Collaborate closely with internal software, systems, and infrastructure teams to plan, build, integrate, and test functionality.
- Manage strategic technology partnerships. Establish, evaluate, and maintain relationships with third-party hardware and software vendors to meet current demands and scale for future growth.
- Architect for simplicity and scale. Champion engineering decisions that reduce operational complexity and lifecycle costs while building scalable architectures that support future multi-enclave capabilities.
- Ensure rigorous export and security compliance. Partner closely with the Anduril trade compliance and export control teams to ensure all solutions strictly adhere to regulatory and export control requirements.
- Drive disciplined engineering standards. Institute and maintain rigorous engineering, validation, and fielding processes so that deployed solutions are resilient, repeatable, and maintainable in real-world operational environments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
- Demonstrated track record as a Senior or Staff Technical Program Manager, Systems Engineer, or Security Engineer delivering complex IT, networking, or cybersecurity solutions.
- Foundational understanding of computer and network security principles, cybersecurity architectures, threat modeling, and/or defense-in-depth strategies.
- Experience navigating U.S. Government security compliance frameworks (e.g., Risk Management Framework [RMF], NIST SP 800-53, DoDI 8510.01, ICD 503) and driving systems through the ATO process.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional execution across distributed software engineering, infrastructure, and test teams.
- Proven ability to manage technical vendor partnerships, evaluate third-party technologies, and hold external partners accountable to technical milestones.
- Excellent technical communication skills, with the ability to bridge conversations between low-level software engineers, operational military personnel, and senior government authorization authorities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building, integrating, testing, or authorizing Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) or Multi-Level Security (MLS) architectures within DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) environments.
- Familiarity with National Cross Domain Strategy and Management Office (NCDSMO) requirements and CDS lifecycle processes (Raise-the-Bar standards).
- Experience navigating international export controls, ITAR, and EAR compliance in the context of defense software and security platforms.
- Background in distributed systems, secure cloud environments, and tactical network integration.
