About Us
About the Company
Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. Backed by world-class investors, operators, and sports & entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next-generation collectibles. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.
About the Team
Fanatics TCG is a new Seattle-based trading card game studio within the Fanatics Collectibles family, founded by industry veterans with a long-term mandate: to build enduring franchises that live across tabletop, digital, community, and culture. We’re looking for the most skilled and passionate talent in the games industry and beyond to help us create the best trading card games in the world.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to help bring the visual design language of Fanatics trading card game franchises to life - from brand system components to the card frames that players hold in their hands. This is a role for a designer with strong design fundamentals and a sharp eye: someone who cares about why things look the way they do, and who brings that care to every frame, glyph, and color decision they make. You'll work closely with our Principal Graphic Designers, Art Directors, and Creative Director to execute and extend the visual identity of our games, and you'll be a key contributor to the studio's design standard.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine card frames, typography, iconography, and layout within established frame systems, contributing to the visual grammar that makes each TCG franchise distinct and immediately recognizable
- Contribute to brand identity systems for new franchises, including color, typography, logo applications, and brand standards documentation, under the direction of the Principal Graphic Designer
- Build and maintain card layout templates, set iconography, and other production-ready design assets used across the TCG line
- Design packaging and marketing materials that extend the brand coherently beyond the card itself
- Partner with the creative and production teams to execute designs accurately through to print-ready files, and help review production files for consistency with design standards
- Maintain organized design files and assets within shared team libraries
Qualifications & Experience
- 4-6 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in games, entertainment, or consumer products
- Portfolio demonstrating strong command of typography, hierarchy, composition, and color, with work that shows both polished execution and clear design thinking
- Experience designing for constrained, information-dense formats: card games, packaging, editorial, or similar
- Familiarity with packaging design or template-based production design is a plus
- Background in or genuine passion for the trading card, tabletop games, or collectibles space is a plus
Location
All employees of Fanatics TCG are expected to be onsite in our Seattle office five days per week.
