Senior Accountant

The role

NakedMD is the fastest growing med spa brand in the country, with over 50 locations and new studios opening every month. As we scale, we need a strong finance professional who can keep pace with that growth and give leadership accurate, timely numbers to run the business. The Sr. Accountant owns planning and analysis for our multi-unit, cash pay healthcare business. This person builds the financial models, explains results to leadership, and prepares clear, accurate materials for the board and our investors. It is a hands on role that works closely with the executive team.

What you will do

•      Build and maintain a driver based budget and rolling forecast at the studio level, including how new studios ramp from opening to maturity

•      Maintain the company three statement model, including debt schedules and covenant forecasting, and keep it current for lender and deal discussions

•      Build lender, financing and deal models from the ground up as needed

•      Deliver accurate ad hoc analysis on new markets, pricing, memberships, provider productivity and capital spend to support executive decisions

•      Prepare board and investor materials and present them to the executive team

•      Write concise monthly variance commentary that explains what drove results

•      Build and maintain dashboards that give studio and regional leaders timely visibility into their performance

•      Partner with operations, marketing and clinical leadership to translate business plans into financial targets

What you bring

•      6 to 9 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years of corporate FP&A at a PE backed or high growth company

•      Experience building a driver based budget and forecast for a multi-unit business such as healthcare services, fitness, restaurants, retail or consumer services, including new unit ramp

•      Expert three statement modeling skills, including debt schedules and covenant forecasting, with the ability to build a lender or deal model from scratch

•      A track record of accurate, decision ready analysis for senior leadership

•      Experience writing board or investor level materials and presenting them to executives

•      Advanced Excel, hands on ERP experience, and working knowledge of a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau

•      Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics. MBA or CFA preferred but not required

Bonus points

•      Background in investment banking, corporate finance, PE portfolio operations, transaction advisory or a similarly analytical seat

•      Experience in consumer healthcare, aesthetics, med spa, dental or another cash pay services business

•      SQL, or you are comfortable pulling data straight out of POS and EMR systems instead of waiting for someone to export it
