Modern Animal is on a mission to better the lives of animals by building a place that’s better for all of us who love them. We’re passionate about the veterinary profession and are seeking skilled Relief Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our West LA team!
Location: Relief shifts are available at our Los Angeles clinics, ranging from 6 to 10 hours throughout the week.
What you’ll be working on:
- Maximize Your License: Utilize your [RVT or LVT] license to its fullest, delivering top-notch care
- Precision in Care: Maintain accurate medical records with the appropriate veterinary terminology
- Diagnostic Expertise: Perform lab work and radiology, ensuring quality results
- Pharmacology Knowledge: Handle controlled medications with attention to detail
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with DVMs and the veterinary team to provide exceptional care
- Client Communication: Deliver clear, compassionate discharge instructions to pet owners
- Autonomous Practice: Thrive in a setting that values independence and proactive problem-solving
- Continuous Learning: Grow in a culture that prioritizes continuous improvement and excellence

The pay range for this position is listed below; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
