Registered Nurse Supervisor - RN - - Contract

Pay rates starting at $50/hr

Part Time Evenings (2-3 8hr shifts a week, every other weekend and holidays as needed)

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our healthcare team in Waterloo, NY. The RN Supervisor will provide clinical leadership and oversight, ensuring high-quality resident/patient care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with applicable healthcare standards and regulations.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during the evening shift.
• Provide clinical guidance and direction to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members.
• Monitor resident/patient care and ensure individualized care plans are followed.
• Respond appropriately to changes in condition and medical emergencies.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Conduct rounds and assess residents/patients for changes in condition.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and medication administration.
• Assist with staffing, assignments, and maintaining appropriate shift coverage.
• Promote compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Provide leadership and support to staff while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Address clinical concerns and assist with resolving issues that arise during the shift.

Benefits

• Current and unrestricted New York State RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nurse experience in a Long Term Care Setting required
• Previous nursing experience required; supervisor/clinical lead experience over multiple units required
