Company Profile
At Sand Cherry Associates, we excel in the design and delivery of strategic customer-centric initiatives through digitally native, data-empowered solutions. Our client’s confidence in us is centered on exceptionally skilled, high-energy talent working with the support of the full Sand Cherry team. Finding the right match for this role is a critical aspect of continuing that success.
Overview
We are seeking a self-driven, technically savvy Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery for the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) team. This individual will manage projects across SDLC, coordinating activities from architecture and solution design through testing, implementation, and software deployment. The ideal candidate is an autonomous project manager with strong communication and organizational skills who can work cross-functionally with technical teams and stakeholders to drive delivery, manage dependencies, and ensure successful implementation of new solutions. This is a hybrid role that requires 4 days on-site. All qualified candidates MUST reside and be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfers. Please note that we do not work C2C.
Responsibilities
· Manage projects in the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, UAT, implementation, and post-launch activities.
· Develop and manage project plans, scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resources, and success criteria.
· Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Engineering, and business functions to drive alignment and successful project delivery.
· Manage multiple projects and workstreams, prioritizing competing demands and adapting to changing business priorities.
· Partner with Product Management to identify customer needs, gather requirements, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and translate business requirements into actionable deliverables.
· Facilitate project meetings, Agile ceremonies, stakeholder discussions, and status reviews; track decisions, action items, risks, issues, and next steps.
· Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, roadblocks, and scope changes; develop mitigation plans and escalate as appropriate.
· Provide clear, executive-ready project updates, presentations, dashboards, and reports highlighting progress, risks, decisions, and key milestones.
· Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, communication, reporting, and workflows while ensuring deliverables are accurate, high quality, and aligned with customer and business objectives.
· Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve project planning, analysis, reporting, communication, and overall team effectiveness.
Requirements
· 3+ years of experience in project management, product management, or consulting.
· Experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies and familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
· Experience managing technology, telecom, mobile, digital, or product-related projects in complex, cross-functional environments.
· Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Technology, and business teams to define requirements and deliver solutions from planning through implementation and post-launch.
· Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools; Agile ceremony facilitation experience preferred.
· Strong project planning, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and risk management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment and present complex information clearly to teams and senior leadership.
· Strong business acumen, attention to detail, accountability, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and leading AI tools; experience with mobile products, wireless services, broadband, telecommunications, or digital customer experiences preferred.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other project management certification is preferred.
