Inside Sales Intern

We supply specialty wood products that are hard to find elsewhere. That includes fire-rated, moisture-resistant, marine-grade and oversized panels, NAF and FSC certified panels, plus wholesale hardwood plywood, particleboard and melamine. Our customers include furniture makers, cabinet shops, architectural woodworkers, store fixture builders and lumber dealers. We win by knowing our products and building relationships that last.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Focus on how to increase sales and how to gain more customers
• Take and enter customer orders
• Make sales calls from a predetermined list
• Develop and enhance customer relationships
• Gain an understanding of the product line

JOB DUTIES

• Receive and convey customer feedback to management to improve business operations
• Input sales orders into ordering system
• Take sales orders from inbound phone customers or help walk-in customers
• Think of ways to increase sales
• Get involved with direct marketing tasks

Requirements

• • Prior sales experience preferred, but not necessary
  • Great attitude and personable with an ability to build a rapport with clients
  • Dependable, reliable, and accountable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Effective organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
