About the company
Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the rollout of a software platform into customer-managed environments, from cloud private networks to on-premises hardware. Work directly with customer technical and security teams to plan, troubleshoot and automate deployments, and turn one-off efforts into repeatable patterns.
What you'll do
- Lead deployments end to end in customer environments, covering planning, configuration, testing and rollout across private cloud and on-premises setups.
- Work directly with customer engineers and senior stakeholders, including through shared channels, calls and occasional site visits.
- Diagnose and resolve customer-specific infrastructure problems such as container orchestration misconfigurations, cloud identity and access edge cases, and networking faults.
- Build monitoring, telemetry and automation that make deployments repeatable and scalable.
- Learn the hardware behind machine learning workloads so they can be deployed on infrastructure the customer controls.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 3 to 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
- Past ownership of core container orchestration and cloud infrastructure at a high-bar technology company or startup.
- Deep production expertise with Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform, networking and infrastructure as code.
- Clear communication and the ability to diagnose problems live with external engineering teams.
- A standout track record, such as fast promotions, notable open-source work or founding-engineer scope.
Bonus points
- Experience delivering software into environments that customers control, such as private cloud, air-gapped or on-premises installs.
- A background in a small, rapidly scaling company.
- A technical degree from a strong program.
