About OpenArt

We built OpenArt for people who have a vision but not a studio, and creators who have a story but not an entire production team.
Today, OpenArt is one of the fastest-growing AI creative platforms, helping millions of people create images, videos, stories, ads, and other creative content with AI.
OpenArt is #12 on a16z’s Top 50 Consumer AI Apps by Monthly Revenue, was selected as one of just five companies in the 2026 Disney Accelerator, and was recognized by Notable Capital’s Prosumer AI 40 as one of the 40 most innovative AI-native companies.
We’re a small, ambitious team that moves fast, takes ownership, and builds without waiting for a playbook.

About the Role

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day People matters.

  • Maintain and improve People policies and processes, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

  • Support company-wide People programs, including performance reviews, compensation cycles, and employee experience initiatives.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and other teams on cross-functional People needs.

  • Continuously improve and automate People processes to support a growing global organization.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or a related HR role, ideally in a fast-paced company.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, with hands-on experience navigating California employment requirements and practices.

  • Experience supporting global teams across multiple locations, including both onsite and remote employees.

  • Strong understanding of core HR operations and the employee lifecycle, including HRIS, benefits, leaves, onboarding/offboarding, and People policies.

  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive employee matters.

  • Strong communicator who can build trust with both employees and managers.

  • Independent, practical, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to build structure and scalable processes in a fast-moving environment.

Why Join OpenArt

  • Help shape the People function at an important stage of the company’s growth.

  • Take meaningful ownership and have direct impact on how we build and support our team.

  • Work with a collaborative, global team at the forefront of AI and creative technology.
