Short Job Description
The ideal Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of earthmoving and pipeline equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, emissions and hydraulic issues
- Perform scheduled maintenance as required
- Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufactures
- Look up and order parts as needed
- Document and complete all paperwork as required
- All tasks assigned by Service / Fleet manager
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Familiarity with Caterpillar / Deere / OTR equipment is preferred
- Working knowledge of T4 an T4F emissions systems
- Proficiency with OEM systems for parts look up and ordering
