About the company
Our client is a fast-growing technology company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the customer-facing mobile and web applications from design through production, focusing on an intuitive experience for non-technical users. Combine solid full-stack engineering with strong database judgment and a good eye for product and design, iterating quickly and learning directly from users.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain mobile and web applications end to end, from interface to data layer.
- Design simple, trustworthy user experiences that reduce confusion for non-technical users.
- Shape data models and monitor application performance, including latency and API usage, as the user base grows.
- Iterate quickly through experiments and A/B tests, shipping improvements to production continuously.
- Spend time with real users to understand their behavior and turn what you learn into product improvements.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Strong full-stack engineering skills with particular depth in databases and data modeling.
- A genuine eye for design, product and user experience, while remaining an engineer rather than a product manager.
- A track record of shipping applications to production frequently, including personal side projects.
- Close attention to detail and curiosity about how users behave.
- Solid frontend ability to make an application look and feel right for a non-technical audience.
- High agency and autonomy, comfort in a flat team of individual contributors, and a willingness to listen and learn.
- Pride in engineering craft and a thoughtful approach to using AI tools without relying on them for judgment.
- 0 to 5 years of experience, with evidence of impressive accomplishments such as founding and shipping a product, if no university degree.
- Willingness to travel to meet users in person.
Bonus points
- Design or mobile development background.
