The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Work hands-on inside client business units to design, build and launch AI-driven software in live operations. Own delivery from discovery through handoff, act as the main technical contact for business leaders, and turn what you learn into repeatable approaches.

What you'll do

- Embed with business teams to understand how they operate and pinpoint the few workflow opportunities where automation will have the most impact.

- Build integrations, prompts, evaluation tooling and user interfaces to launch the first automated workflow at each site.

- Run and tune deployed systems after launch, adjusting levels of autonomy and handing off cleanly to operations teams once stable.

- Act as the technical representative to general managers, building trust and setting clear expectations.

- Capture lessons learned and turn them into reusable playbooks that speed up later deployments.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Comfort working across the whole application stack, with a server-side language such as Python or TypeScript, a modern web UI framework and relational databases, and the independence to deliver a solution alone from start to finish.

- Experience launching production LLM or agent-based software used by external users, including evaluation, autonomy controls and outcome tracking.

- A background working closely alongside clients or inside their teams, such as solutions engineering or a deploy-and-operate model.

- Strong tenure at a recognized early-stage or high-growth startup.

- Fluency using AI development tools and agents to automate manual work.

- Business instincts, including comfort reading a P&L and translating ambiguous business problems into scoped technical solutions.

- Polished communication and executive presence with senior leaders and general managers.

- A technical degree from a top university for candidates with under 2 years of experience.

- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed, with travel levels that vary, and to be based in or relocate to New York.

Bonus points

- Programming experience in Go and TypeScript.

- Exposure to private equity, consulting or vertical software operating environments, such as M&A integration.

- Background as a founder or founding engineer.

- Big Tech experience, particularly for new graduates.

- Base salary: USD 185,000 to 240,000 per year
