Electrical Engineer

• Perform technical analysis associated with the assigned task area for problems with specific objectives and requiring investigation of a limited number of variables
• Excercise judgement in determining required on task details and in making recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
• Perform duties under supervision of senior engineer(s)
• Perform entry-level electrical engineering technical analysis solving problems with specific objectives and requiring investigation of a limited number of variables
• Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test planPerform duties under supervision of senior engineer(s)
• Work in integrated product teams of diverse technical disciplines
• Support circuit and systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Support electronic systems design, development, prototyping, and manufacturing
• Support electronic performance specification validation
• Support the development of technical procedures, instructions, reports and other documentation
• Support other Research & Development activities
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education/Training: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or other relevant engineering or science discipline required

Experience:

• 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area

• Electrical/electronic design, analysis, prototyping, development, documentation, and fabrication
• Experience with national or military standards preferred

Security:

• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to obtain a security clearance will be required

Physical Requirements:

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: 

The projected salary range for this position is $89,000 - $99,000 per year. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
