Drywall Hangers

We are seeking experienced Drywall Hangers to join our team for a full-store commercial remodel. Candidates will be responsible for installing gypsum board throughout designated areas of the store in accordance with construction drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and jobsite safety requirements.

This project involves commercial retail renovation work in a fast-paced construction environment. Qualified candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently while coordinating with other construction trades to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

Install drywall on interior walls, partitions, soffits, and other designated areas according to approved construction plans and specifications.

Measure, cut, fit, and hang gypsum board using proper installation methods and fastening techniques.

Coordinate with framing, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical trades to ensure proper fit, access, and clearance before installation.

Maintain quality workmanship and comply with applicable building codes, fire-rated assembly requirements, and project specifications.

Maintain a clean and safe work area, remove construction debris, and follow all site-specific safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience hanging drywall on commercial construction or renovation projects preferred.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow installation instructions.
• Knowledge of drywall materials, tools, fastening methods, and installation techniques.
• Ability to lift and handle drywall sheets and construction materials safely.
• Reliable transportation, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a crew and meet project schedules.
• OSHA training or certification is a plus, if applicable to project requirements.

Benefits

Pay: $30-$32
