Behavior Interventionist: Turn Play Into Progress

Join IABA and change a child’s life, starting your very first week.

As a Behavior Interventionist with IABA, you’ll work one-on-one with children and adolescents with Autism and other developmental disabilities, helping them build the skills to play, communicate, connect, and become more independent. You’ll see the impact of your work, and so will the families who count on you.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver personalized, evidence-based ABA treatment plans in homes, schools, and the community
  • Use our positive-only approach to encourage new skills and celebrate every win
  • Build play, self-care, social, communication, and cognitive skills through engaging, hands-on sessions
  • Become a trusted part of a child’s support team and a real partner to their family

Who thrives here

  • Experienced with severe or challenging behaviors? WE NEED YOU! If you’ve supported children or adolescents who engage in aggression, self-injury, or elopement, and you stay calm, consistent, and compassionate under pressure, you’ll find a team that values your skills. Your experience can place you at the higher end of our $21-$28/hour range, with a clear path to advance.
  • Have ABA experience? Bring your skills to a team that values them, with pay that reflects your experience and education.
  • New to ABA? If you’re patient, energetic, and love working with kids, we’ll train you. Experience with childcare, teaching, camps, coaching, or caregiving is a great start.
  • Anyone who brings warmth, resilience, creativity, and a love of learning

And you’ll never do it alone. You’ll have paid, hands-on training, supervisor shadowing, and an experienced team behind you.
