The role  

As a Lead Developer - Sitecore, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 6+ YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact. 

You will thrive in this role if you are:

• Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) 

Role responsibilities

• Develop and customise Sitecore XP (9 or 10) solutions using .NET (8/10), C#, and MVC.NET.
• Implement and optimise search functionality using Solr, including indexing and query tuning. 
• Manage source control, builds, and releases using Azure DevOps (Git repositories and Pipelines). 
• Write unit and integration tests using NUnit/xUnit within Visual Studio, and maintain code quality. 
• Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code) to improve productivity, with appropriate code review and human oversight. 
• Take part in code reviews, technical design discussions, estimation, and sprint ceremonies. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects across development, test, and production environments. 
• Document solutions and support junior team members through knowledge sharing. 

 

Must have qualifications

• Experience: 6 to 8 years of professional software development, including hands-on Sitecore delivery. 
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
• Sitecore XP: version 9 or 10, with a good understanding of content architecture and the Sitecore development lifecycle. 
• Back end: .NET (8 or 10), C#, and MVC.NET. 
• Search: practical experience with Solr in a Sitecore context. 
• DevOps: Azure DevOps, including Git repositories and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Testing and tooling: NUnit/xUnit and Visual Studio. 
• AI-assisted development: practical experience with tools such as Cursor or Claude Code. 
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. 

 

Nice to have qualifications  

• Sitecore or Microsoft certifications are a plus but not required. 
• Sitecore serialization experience: Sitecore TDS, Unicorn, and/or Sitecore Content Serialization. 
• JavaScript. 
• Sitecore certification.
