Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on People Partner to support the growth and development of a technology-driven organisation. This role combines HR business partnership, people operations, performance management, employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, and operational execution.

The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner to leadership and employees, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity, build strong relationships, and translate business and people needs into practical solutions. You will work closely with India leadership, particularly engineering and product teams, while collaborating with the global People function.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee transitions, and exits.
  • Partner with managers and leaders on performance management, feedback, team effectiveness, accountability, and employee development.
  • Support the implementation and execution of performance management practices in collaboration with global People teams.
  • Help managers establish effective practices around one-on-ones, expectations, feedback, and development conversations.
  • Work closely with leadership to clarify roles, responsibilities, reporting structures, and organisational expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and proactively identify concerns, engagement issues, and workplace challenges.
  • Handle sensitive employee matters and conversations with discretion, empathy, sound judgement, and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with Talent, Finance, leadership, employees, and global People teams to resolve operational and people-related issues.
  • Identify recurring HR and employee-experience challenges and develop simple, scalable, and sustainable processes.
  • Improve consistency and efficiency across People operations while avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Support organisational changes and evolving people requirements as the business scales.
  • Provide practical recommendations to leadership on people, team, performance, and organisational matters.
  • Maintain accurate People processes, documentation, and employee records.
  • Ensure timely follow-through on employee and manager requests, commitments, and action items.
  • Contribute to building a strong, connected, and high-performing workplace culture.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of relevant experience across People, HR, HR Business Partnering, Talent, People Operations, or broader business operations.
  • Meaningful experience balancing employee-facing responsibilities with hands-on HR execution.
  • Experience working within a growing technology, product, engineering, or global organisation.
  • Strong ability to partner effectively with engineering, product, and business leaders.
  • Proven experience supporting performance management, employee relations, manager effectiveness, and organisational development.
  • Demonstrated ability to build or improve processes and take ownership of problems through resolution.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous and fast-changing environments with limited predefined processes.
  • Strong business judgement with the ability to identify priorities, make practical recommendations, and adapt as circumstances evolve.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong discretion and emotional intelligence when handling sensitive employee matters.
  • Ability to challenge constructively while maintaining strong relationships and trust.
  • Highly hands-on approach with a willingness to manage operational details and take ownership beyond defined responsibilities.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience transitioning from HR or Talent into a broader People Partner or operating role would be an advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to work in-office in Bengaluru and remain closely connected with employees and leadership.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong focus on employee experience, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
