About the Role

Newstaff Employment is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and motivated Secondary School Teachers to work in secondary schools across Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding area

We are looking for passionate educators who can inspire students, deliver engaging lessons, and support pupils in achieving their academic potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), across a range of secondary subjects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Teach and motivate students across the relevant subject area.
• Monitor, assess, and record students' progress and attainment.
• Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs.
• Support students' academic progress and personal development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers, where appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Requirements

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or eligibility for the relevant teaching role.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible, professional, and reliable approach.
• An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory safeguarding and reference checks.
