The Company

At Fora, we’re reimagining what the workplace can be.

We create inspiring, design‑led spaces that blend hospitality, community, and wellbeing—so people can work productively, creatively, and happily.

From our first London workspace over 20 years ago, we’ve grown to 60+ locations across the UK supporting 30,000+ members and partnering with trailblazing brands like Ocado, The British Fashion Council, and Pangaia.

Backed by The Office Group, Blackstone, and Brockton Capital, we’re growing fast and pioneering conscious design, sustainable construction, and workspaces that empower people to work in their own unique way.

At Fora, we’re not just shaping workplaces - we’re shaping the future of work.

About the Role

We are on the lookout for engaging individuals to join our Operations team as Member Experience Hosts, providing exceptional experiences for our members and their visitors across our London locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome all visitors warmly, whether in person or over the phone, answering and referring enquiries as appropriate.
  • Create a culture that energises and empowers people to do their best work.
  • Facilitate member requests, including meeting room reservations, catering, and postage, parcel, and courier arrangements, ensuring services are appropriately charged.
  • Deliver a seamless experience for internal and external meeting room guests, including hosting, ordering and serving catering, preparing tea and coffee, assisting with technology requirements, and refreshing rooms.
  • Conduct regular building walks to ensure all front and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards, checking for cleanliness, visual presentation, maintenance requirements, and health and safety issues.
  • Ensure all communal spaces and meeting rooms are set up correctly and are visually and operationally ready for use.
  • Raise and manage troubleshooting tickets via the IT Helpdesk for IT issues and Freshdesk for maintenance and cleaning issues, ensuring members are kept updated throughout.

Salary: £28,860 plus a 10% bonus.

Requirements

This role is for you if:

  • You enjoy engaging with new people from all walks of life and being the first face of Fora. You get a kick out of making new connections and helping others.
  • Helping others gives you a huge sense of accomplishment, whether that's planning and delivering events, surprising our members, or being responsible for the smooth running of our buildings. It's the big and small day-to-day successes that motivate you.
  • You’re a great team player and know just the right things to say to foster harmony and build bridges with people inside and outside the business. The success of Fora isn’t a one-person job. You’ll work closely with a variety of departments to keep our spaces running smoothly and buzzing with energy.
  • You love problem-solving. You’re a thinker, a doer, and aren’t afraid to get creative when finding solutions to your clients’ needs.
  • You're not looking for an ordinary 9-to-5 desk job. Every day brings something different. One day, you might be setting up a meeting room for 70 people and preparing catering, and the next, you could be conducting fire alarm tests or helping to resolve IT issues.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong sense of ownership and a commitment to delivering work to exceptional standards.
  • Comfortable using MS Office tools, particularly Word and Excel.
  • A brilliant self-starter with a natural ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
