Content & Event Marketing Manager

zerothird is currently building the European quantum network – and this role ensures the world knows it. We are looking for a Content & Event Marketing Lead to join our Vienna team and work directly with the CMO. This hybrid role combines strategic storytelling, content creation and high-profile event marketing. You’ll turn complex topics across security, infrastructure, resilience and quantum technologies into compelling stories and experiences -  connecting strategy, technology, executives, content and events to shape how we are perceived by customers, partners and industry leaders.

What you'll do

Content & Storytelling

• Turn product, technology and business topics into compelling stories and thought leadership
• Monitor the market for trending topics that you can comment on and link it to our product
• Identify the right internal experts and executives to tell those stories
• Write high-quality articles, posts, short videos, executive content 
• Manage content across website, blog, LinkedIn, Medium, YouTube, and newsletters
• Own our SEO/GEO strategy and execution across content and digital channels
• Continuously optimize content based on performance and audience insights

Event Marketing

• Own our presence at trade shows, conferences, sponsored events, and own curated events
• Prepare teams with the right messaging, presentations, brochures, flyers, merchandise and other assets
• Manage relationships and coordination with event organizers and partners
• Create and execute high-profile, invite-only executive events such as dinners, roundtables and fireside chats
• Develop the story and theme behind each event and identify the right speakers and guests
• Manage the complete guest journey: from invitation and outreach to RSVP, event execution and follow-up
• Create exceptional experiences with a genuine “wow” factor
• Use tools such as Luma, Eventbrite or similar for guest and event management
• Ensure event contacts and leads are properly captured, curated and transferred into the CRM system

What we're looking for

• A minimum of four years of experience in content marketing, communications, editorial, event marketing or a related field
• Excellent storytelling and writing skills
• Proven experience creating content across multiple channels
• Strong hands-on SEO experience 
• Experience with websites/CMS, LinkedIn, blogs, newsletters and ideally YouTube/video
• Experience in planning and executing both industry events and executive-level events
• Confident working with C-level executives and senior stakeholders
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Experience with CRM and event-management tools
• Excellent German and fluent English
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset: You like owning things from idea to execution

A big plus

• Background in Cyber Security, Telecommunications, Banking, Critical Infrastructure, Resilience, Quantum or B2B Technology
• Experience in B2B SaaS
• Experience with executive thought leadership and positioning
• Additional languages

The minimum gross salary for this position is €2.881,97 per month (based on full-time employment) in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. However, there is a willingness to offer a higher salary depending on experience and qualifications.
